Webinar Series

A webinar series was conducted on 28th and 29th of July and 7th of August 2020 by CE Alumni Association through online platform. All speakers are Alumni of Civil Engineering department and are having renowned experience in various fields of Civil Engineering. It was extremely beneficial for all students and gave a link between theory knowledge and field experience. Participant list includes mainly final year and pre final year students, which also includes students from other colleges.

Day 1

On day 1, Mr. Anoop K, Alumni of 2011-2015 batch currently working as Chief Managing Director, KM Consortium, Builders and Developers interacted with the students and gave them a talk on “Challenges Faced by the Entrepreneur in the Construction Sector”. It was really a different experience for all the participants. A total of 136 participants attended the webinar conducted through Google meet.

Day 2

On day 2, Ms. Haseeba K M, Alumni of 2011-2015 batch currently working as Accredited Engineer, MGNREGS (Mahathma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme) gave a very detailed and interesting talk on “Opportunities in MGNREGS For Civil Engineers”. It was really helpful for all the participants since this field was unfamiliar to many of them. A total of 114 participants attended the webinar conducted through Google meet.

Day 3

On day 3, Mr. Muhammed Thaj C, Alumni of 2011-2015 batch currently working as Quantity survey Engineer, Orientals Enterprises, Doha, Qatar offered a very informative talk on “Quantity Survey Engineering: The Untold”. He gave an enlightening lecture on various aspects of quantity surveying. The programme which conducted through google meet was very successful with active participation of 213 participants.
