Webinar Series 2020

Department of Civil Engineering organized a Webinar Series for its Final Year & Pre Final Year Students. The sessions was handled by Experts from Industry and the best minds from academia. Through this series of webinars, we are intending to enhance the knowledge of students and prepare them for the industry after their graduation. The event has enabled participants to learn about new techniques in Civil Engineering and share the required skills to make themselves effective facilitators. The program was conducted through Google Meet Platform.

Day 1 – 04/07/2020

A session on “CAREER AFTER B.TECH IN CIVIL ENGINEERING” was handled by Dr. P. R. Sreemahadevan Pillai, Dean of Calicut University. The webinar was conducted at 4.00 PM through google meet platform. More than 100 students participated in the event.

Day 2 – 07/07/2020

A session on “INTRODUCTION TO BUILDING DESIGN USING E-TABS” was handled by Mr. Muhammed Rafeek, Assistant Professor, Al Ameen Engineering College. The webinar was conducted at 4.00 PM through google meet platform. Around 30 students participated in the event.

Day 3 – 11/07/2020

A session on “POST TENSIONING CHANGING WAYS OF CONSTRUCTION IN KERALA” was handled by Mr.Jersion Scariah James, Assistant Professor, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. The webinar was conducted at 4.00 PM through google meet platform. Around 45 students participated in the event.
