The objective of this event was to form IEI Student Chapter under Civil Engineering Department and was inaugurated as a new chapter at MEA Engineering College on 18th April, 2022 at 10:00 AM IST. The Institution of Engineers (India) or IEI is Asia`s largest multi-disciplinary professional society in the engineering and technology world.

A webinar on ‘Compete Yourself For Your Next Career’ was conducted by IEI-CE Students Chapter MEAEC (679325/MEAE/CV)on 15th April 2022. Mr.Noushad k, Research Scholar NIT Calicut was the keynote speaker.The event examined career opportunities in various fields after graduation, interesting job opportunities in public and private sector and preparations for various interviews.

A webinar on ‘ How to draft an effective paper ‘ was conducted by IEI-CE students chapter MEAEC (679325/MEAEC/CV) on 2nd August, 2022 . Dr. Mubarak M Associate professor , Head, department of Mechanical Engineering was the Keynote speaker. The event discussed the tips and tricks for the preparation of an effective conference paper and it’s presentation.

A webinar on ‘Mechanised Tunnelling in Urban Areas- An introduction’ was conducted by IEI-CE Students Chapter MEAEC (679325/MEAE/CV)on 22nd April 2022. Dr JishnuRamabhadran ,Senior Engineer at Arcadis Consulting Bangalorewas the keynote speaker. The event examined mechanised tunnelling in civil engineering, construction methods, shaft construction sequences in cut and cover structures, purpose and safety measures regarding tunnelling.
